SpaceX has disabled Starlink internet services to over 2,500 devices used by scam compounds in Myanmar. This action targets major cybercrime operations along the Thai-Myanmar border that traffic and force people into online scams.

• More than 30 scam compounds are believed to be operating, generating tens of billions of dollars annually.
• Head of Starlink business operations, Lauren Dreyer, announced the cut, stating SpaceX acts on identified violations and is committed to preventing misuse.
• The military takeover of KK Park, one of the largest compounds, released over 2,000 workers and confiscated 30 Starlink terminals, though at least 30 other scam compounds remain active.
