The Manu Chandaria Foundation, in partnership with Standard Media Group, has donated food worth Sh1 million to victims of the November 2nd mudslides in Elgeyo Marakwet, where the death toll has risen to 37.

• The donation, primarily maize flour, will support vulnerable families in areas including Chesongoch, Murkutwa, Kabetwa, and Embobut, with 11 people still missing.
• Elgeyo Marakwet County Secretary Lazarus Chebii received the donations, expressing gratitude to well-wishers for their swift response.
• Health Executive Committee Member Monica Rotich highlighted the urgent need for psychosocial support for survivors, with 250 health personnel currently attending to over 900 victims at a temporary facility in Chesongoch Primary School.
