Kalahari Cement, a subsidiary of Tanzania’s Amsons Group, has finalized the acquisition of a 29.2 percent stake in East African Portland Cement (EAPC). This significant cross-border deal, completed on November 4, 2025, aims to revitalize EAPC's production capacity and market competitiveness.

• The acquisition involved 26.3 million shares at Sh27.30 per share.
• Amsons Group Managing Director Edha Nahdi stated Kalahari Cement will inject new capital and technical expertise.
