The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has mandated all public officers in Kenya to declare their wealth between November 1 and December 31 as part of a government initiative to combat corruption.

• All public officers must declare their income, assets, and liabilities, including those of their spouses and dependent children under 18 years old.
• The directive follows the implementation of the Conflict of Interest Bill 2025, which became effective in August.
• EACC Chief Executive Officer Abdi Mohamud stated that officers are personally responsible for the accuracy of their declarations, and non-compliance will lead to disciplinary measures.
