Kenyan TikToker and photographer Faustine ‘Baba Talisha’ had a painful ordeal after two of his iPhones were stolen at the Mataha Festival, with one tracked from Ngong to Mukono, Uganda, before its tracking was disabled.

• Baba Talisha used Apple’s Find My feature to track his stolen iPhone 15 Pro Max, which initially remained in Ngong, Kajiado County, for nearly seven hours.
• The phone was later tracked speeding along the Kisumu-Nairobi Highway, pausing in Ahero, and eventually crossing into Uganda near Jinja–Kampala Road in Mukono.
• The thieves disabled the tracking by signing out of the iCloud account, prompting Baba Talisha to warn about organized theft rings at crowded events.
