A recent drone attack on Kalogi, Sudan, has resulted in dozens of civilian deaths, including numerous children. The strikes targeted a kindergarten and a hospital, intensifying the conflict between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

More than 10 children aged between five and seven were killed in the kindergarten strike, as reported by UNICEF.
Essam al-Din al-Sayed, head of the Kalogi administrative unit, blamed the attack on the RSF and their ally, the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North faction.
The overall death toll cited by the army-aligned foreign ministry stands at 79, including 43 children.
Over 40,000 people have fled the Kordofan region in the past month due to the ongoing offensive.
