A 12-year-old girl, Patience Mumbe, who went missing last Thursday in Embakasi, was found murdered with an autopsy revealing she was defiled, tortured, and strangled.

• Autopsy by lead pathologist Grace Midigo confirmed Patience died from head injuries and strangulation, with evidence of sexual assault and multiple injuries.
• Her body was discovered two days later, approximately one kilometer from Embakasi Police Station.
• CCTV footage shows Patience running from her home towards the Taj Mall bus stage, at one point glancing back as if being followed.
• Grieving parents, Angela Kiilu and Joseph Malonza, have appealed for swift investigations, with no suspect arrested so far.
• Police in Embakasi have confirmed receiving four cases of missing children in the last month.
