The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) is advising farmers to capitalize on continuing rains expected in several counties. This advisory comes amidst generally favorable growing conditions across much of Kenya.

Farmers in areas like the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, South Rift Valley, Coastal Counties, and Southeastern Lowlands are encouraged to utilize the rainfall for crop growth and land preparation.
Livestock farmers in northern counties are urged to conserve pasture and harvest rainwater.
The advisory is based on the KMSA's latest Agrometeorological Dekadal Bulletin and contrasts with an IGAD warning of a dry season for much of East Africa.
