The Kenyan rugby community is mourning the death of former Kenya Sevens star and Impala RFC player Robert “Majei” Aringo, who passed away last weekend.

• Aringo was a key member of the Kenya Shujaa squad that achieved a historic victory at the Singapore Sevens in 2016, Kenya's first-ever Sevens Series Cup win.
• His passing has been met with tributes from friends, family, former teammates, coaches, and the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU).
• Aringo also played for the Kenya Simbas and was instrumental in Impala Saracens reaching the 2016 Kenya Cup final.
