High Court Upholds Gachagua Impeachment but Awards Ex-DP Sh50mn - June 2026
The High Court in Nairobi upheld the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, ruling that Parliament acted within the Constitution. However, the court awarded Gachagua KSh50 million for violation of his right to a fair hearing during the Senate proceedings, specifically finding that the Senate failed to adjourn when he fell ill. KeNHA Unveils New Multi-Billion Project Targeting 2,500KM of Highways - June 2026
