Kenya has secured a Sh16.4 billion concessional loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to enhance rural livelihoods and protect natural resources.

• The loan has a **1.41%** interest rate, **25-year** repayment period, and **five-year** grace period.
• The agreement was signed by Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi and IFAD Regional Director Sara Mbago-Bhunu.
• The Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INReMP) will focus on environmental sustainability across ten counties.
