Political tensions have erupted within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) following comments from Edwin Sifuna, who declared the ODM-UDA Memorandum of Understanding as "dead."

Edwin Sifuna, the ODM Secretary General, has warned that the party risks missing the opportunity to unseat President William Ruto in the 2027 elections by continuing to support his administration, amid internal tensions over coalition direction.
