The Coptic roundabout in Mamboleo, Kisumu County, was demolished on a Saturday morning, just one week after a road accident at the location claimed 26 lives. Another 26 passengers, who included individuals from the Nyakach Koguta area, survived the crash. Following the tragedy, mourners gathered in Nyakach for the emotional burial of those who perished in the recent Coptic road accident. A separate mass funeral was also held in Nyakack to honour 22 victims who died in the incident. The proceedings were covered by KTN News Kenya.
