CS Murkomen Orders Probe into JKIA Chaos During Gachagua's Return - August 2025

Chaos erupted at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) during the homecoming of DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen condemned the violence and has ordered an investigation into the incident. Separately, Waziri Murkomen has reportedly criticized Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua regarding the planning of meetings. Murkomen also claimed that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) failed to inform the police about planned meetings.
