Harambee Stars Rewarded with Housing as Chan 2024 Tournament Nears Conclusion - August 2025

The African Nations Championship (Chan 2024), jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, is in its final stages. As part of a media tour for the tournament, the Chan 2024 trophy made a stop at the Standard Group headquarters in Nairobi. On the field, Sudan and Senegal are set to compete for the bronze medal on Friday at 6 PM at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala. Following their performance in the tournament, President William Ruto announced that Harambee Stars players and technical staff will receive a two-bedroom house under an affordable housing scheme. Each recipient will be required to contribute Sh1 million or can opt for a 20-year mortgage.
