Kenyan Officials Comment on Objectives and Progress of Security Mission in Haiti - September 2025

As Kenya prepares to lead a multinational security force to Haiti, Kenya's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Noor Gabow, stated that the mission is intended to safeguard the country's interests. In an interview, MSS Force Commander Godfrey Otunge stated that significant progress has been made in disrupting criminal networks in Haiti. Commander Otunge also reiterated that the observance of human rights will be a top priority during the operations in the Caribbean nation.
