Samsung Rolls Out One UI 8 and September Security Update to Galaxy Devices in Kenya - September 2025

Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, to Galaxy S25 users in Kenya following its initial release in Korea. This update includes the September 1, 2025 security patch and introduces numerous new features. The company has also initiated the stable One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S25 series after its beta program, with a tracker available for all eligible devices receiving the update locally. Separately, Samsung started rolling out the September 2025 security update to several other Galaxy devices in the country. While some phones have received this patch, other flagships are awaiting a larger software upgrade that bundles it.
