Following this, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi criticized Nyali MP Mohamed Ali for associating with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, warning it could end his political career. Sudi labeled Ali an opportunist and questioned Gachagua's ability to mentor due to his perceived incompetence.
