ODM and Wiper Clash Over Raila's Health; Natembeya Accuses Ruto of Intimidation - October 2025

A heated dispute has emerged between the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper party concerning rumors about the health of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Allies of Odinga have accused opposition figures of circulating what they describe as malicious information and rumors. In a separate political conflict, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya publicly accused President William Ruto of using state agencies to intimidate him. Speaking at a Nairobi hotel, Natembeya, who is also the DAP-K deputy party leader, asserted that these efforts will not deter his drive for Western Kenya unity.
