Kenya Competes in Africa Zone Three Boxing and Swimming Championships at Kasarani - October 2025

Kenya is hosting and competing in multiple Africa Zone Three championships. The Africa Zone Three Boxing Championships are set to begin at Kasarani Stadium’s Indoor Arena, with host nation Kenya fielding a strong contingent of 35 boxers. Kenyan boxing captain Elizabeth Andiego has urged her teammates to take every bout seriously. In a separate event, Kenya had a promising start at the Africa Aquatics Zone Three Swimming Championship at Kasarani Aquatic Stadium, securing several gold medals on Day One. On day two of the four-day swimming event, Kenyans continued to aggressively pursue medals. The nation faces strong competition in swimming from Uganda, Tanzania, and Sudan.
