Companies Participate in Tech Events Including MWC25, Startup World Cup, and Cisco Connect 2025 - October 2025

At MWC25 Kigali, Airtel Africa's CEO, Sunil Taldar, called for stronger collaborations to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation, identifying Artificial Intelligence and data centers as crucial catalysts. Separately, BuuPass, a Kenyan mobility technology company, became the first African startup to be ranked among the Top 3 finalists at the Startup World Cup 2025 Grand Finale in San Francisco. The company competed against over 90 regional winners for a $1 million investment prize. In another event, Comstor, a division of Westcon-Comstor, will participate as a Diamond Sponsor at Cisco Connect 2025 Southern Africa. Cisco Connect 2025 is a flagship regional technology event for IT leaders and innovators.
