Kenyan Athletes Compete in Paris Marathon Relay, Deaflympics, and Local Golf Challenge - October 2025

A six-member Kenyan squad is at the Ekiden de Paris attempting to break a 20-year-old marathon relay world record. The team aims to surpass the current record of 1:57:06, set by another Kenyan team in 2005. Separately, teen golfer Jacinta Njeri will represent Kenya at the 25th Deaflympics Summer Games in Tokyo, Japan, from November 15-26. In local sports, the inaugural Savannah Greens Challenge golf tournament is set to take place at the Machakos Golf Club. This event will feature 150 players from Machakos, Makueni, and Kitui counties.
