• The partnership will deploy Pesapal's Forecourt Management Solution, integrating fuel dispensing, sales monitoring, inventory, payments, and financial reconciliation.
• This initiative follows KCB Group's announcement on October 31 of plans to acquire a minority stake in Pesapal, pending regulatory approvals.
• The system will enable KCB to assess creditworthiness and offer stock financing and working capital solutions to fuel station operators based on real-time operational data.

Visa is collaborating with the Mojaloop Foundation to integrate advanced AI-powered fraud prevention tools into the Mojaloop open-source platform. This partnership aims to secure instant digital payments, particularly in Africa and other emerging markets, addressing a major concern for financial inclusion.

• Visa’s Account-to-Account (A2A) Protect solution, which uses AI and real-time risk scoring, will be integrated into the core Mojaloop platform.

Google is offering Kenyan university students 12 months of its most powerful AI, Gemini Pro Plan, for free. This initiative, launched in partnership with the Kenyan government, aims to equip the next generation with essential AI skills.

• All eligible university and college students in Kenya can access Gemini 2.5 Pro and features like a personal AI tutor, research tools, and a writing assistant.
