Companies Partner to Deploy Digital Payment and AI Solutions in Africa - November 2025
KCB Bank Kenya has partnered with Pesapal to introduce an advanced digital forecourt management system for fuel dealers across East Africa, aiming to digitize operations and address sector inefficiencies. Separately, Visa is collaborating with the Mojaloop Foundation to integrate advanced AI-powered fraud prevention tools into the Mojaloop open-source platform. This partnership aims to secure instant digital payments, particularly in Africa and other emerging markets. The collaboration addresses a major concern for financial inclusion. In a similar effort to boost tech skills, Google is offering Kenyan university students 12 months of its most powerful AI, Gemini Pro Plan, for free. This initiative was launched in partnership with the Kenyan government to equip the next generation with essential AI skills.
