• KNEC advertises job vacancies exclusively on its official website or in the government publication, MyGov, released every Tuesday.
• The council's last recruitment announcement was on June 10, seeking assessors for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) oral and practical tests.
• Those recruited in June would assess eight specific subjects, including power mechanics, electricity, aviation technology, and various oral language exams, for the 2025 KCSE examination.

Basic Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok announced that results for the first-ever Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA) for Grade 9 learners will be released by December 11, with Grade 10 selection completed before Christmas.

• Over 2.4 million senior school places have been secured for 1.1 million learners.
• The Ministry of Education (MoE) aims for learners to report to senior school by January 12, 2026.
• The KJSEA, which ran from October 27 to November 3, is the first national examination under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to ensure smooth transition to senior school.
