Kenyan Athletes Compete in Deaflympics, Boxing, and Basketball Tournaments - November 2025
Team Kenya captain Isaac Tongi Atima has achieved a historic silver medal in the 4x400m mixed relay at the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympic Games, an improvement on a previous bronze. In Kisumu, young boxers are challenging seasoned counterparts in the opening matches of the final leg of the National Boxing League Championships. The overall league title remains a contest between defending champions Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and Kenya Police. Separately, Nairobi City Thunder is one victory away from a second consecutive Basketball Africa League (BAL) appearance. The Kenyan champions face Ferroviario Da Beira in a semi-final match at the Kasarani Indoor Arena. They previously made history as the first Kenyan side to qualify for the competition.
