Opposition Leaders Allege Plot to Manipulate and Rig By-Elections - November 2025

The United Opposition in Kenya claimed the government was planning to rig the by-elections scheduled for Thursday. Leaders from the opposition stated there is a plot to manipulate the upcoming electoral process. This accusation raised concerns about the integrity of the vote. The allegations specifically included a claimed plot to rig the Malava poll as residents prepared to cast their ballots. DAP-K candidate in Malava, Seth Panyako, also publicly claimed that there was a plot to assassinate him.
