President Ruto has outlined a long-term vision for the country, stating his belief that Kenya can achieve prosperity within 30 years by strengthening its economy and infrastructure. He has reiterated his efforts to elevate Kenya's status to that of a first-world nation as a key focus of his development agenda. As part of this vision, the President unveiled an ambitious plan to construct a 1,100km tarmac road. While in Ijara, he stated his desire to oversee the project, which is being touted as the longest road project in Kenya's history and promises to improve connectivity.
