Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has announced his intention to gather 1,000 delegate signatures to initiate a National Delegates Conference (NDC) for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, should party leader Oburu Oginga not convene one.

Democratic Action Party (Kenya) Leader Eugene Wamalwa has announced his intention to work with Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, and other leaders from the Western Kenya Region to reinforce unity and prioritize political interests in the region ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
