Tottenham Sacks Coach Thomas Frank; Coaches at Man United and Chelsea React to Draws - February 2026
Tottenham Hotspur have sacked head coach Thomas Frank after less than eight months in charge following a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Tuesday, which left the team just five points above the relegation zone. Prior to his dismissal, Frank stated he was confident of retaining his job for the upcoming North London derby against Arsenal. In other Premier League action, Manchester United interim head coach Michael Carrick expressed frustration with his team's lack of sharpness despite a 1-1 draw with West Ham. Benjamin Sesko scored a late equalizer in that match for United. Chelsea's head coach Liam Rosenior called his team's 2-2 draw against Leeds a 'bitter pill' after they squandered a two-goal lead at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
