KENHA Plans Construction of 880 Metre Nithi Bridge in Tharaka Nithi - February 2026

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA) has announced a significant infrastructure project to construct a new 880 metre Nithi bridge and expand the adjacent road. Deputy President Kindiki says reconstruction of the Ksh. 7 billion Nithi Bridge set to commence soon. The National Construction Authority (KeNHA) held a public meeting with residents of Tharaka Nithi county to discuss the upcoming construction and expansion of the Nithi Bridge.
