The National Police Service (NPS) is appealing to residents in Meru, Isiolo, Samburu, and Laikipia counties to share intelligence regarding a recent surge in banditry and related crimes that has resulted in deaths and stolen cattle.

• A multi-agency security operation has been launched to recover stolen livestock and illegal firearms.

Two journalists from Standard Group PLC and Mediamax Network Limited were assaulted on Friday, March 20, while covering a UDA meeting in Cherangany, Trans Nzoia.
