KUPPET Demands TSC Hire 44,000 Teachers, End Internship Program - March 2026

The Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) is demanding the immediate hiring of 44,000 teachers by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). The Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) has called on the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to halt the recruitment of intern teachers. Meanwhile, 13 public schools in Nairobi have received new technology and environmental sanitation equipment from Shining Hope for Communities (Shofco).
