The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal ruled that Edwin Sifuna retains his position as ODM Secretary General, dismissing cases attempting to block his removal. The tribunal directed the ODM party to utilize its internal dispute resolution mechanisms before any further action. Orange Democratic Movement National Chairperson Gladys Wanga had previously disowned Sifuna ahead of the ruling. Tensions within the party remain high as two rival factions prepare to hold parallel National Delegates Conference meetings at Jamhuri Grounds, highlighting a deep rift in the party's leadership.
