Deputy President Kithogo Kindiki has formally requested the Judiciary to lift an injunction that has halted the use of speed cameras and instant traffic fines. This comes as the Kariandusi crash death toll rose to 11 after one victim receiving treatment succumbed to injuries. The tragic accident occurred at Kariandusi in Gilgil, Nakuru County. Meanwhile, in a separate transport development, a severe fuel shortage in Nakuru has forced matatu saccos to significantly hike fare prices, increasing public transport costs for residents.
