Parliament Suspends MP Wamboka as PIC Chair Over Bribery, Intimidation Probe - April 2026
Bumula Member of Parliament Jack Wamboka has been suspended as chairperson of the Public Investments Committee (PIC) on Governance and Education amid allegations of bribery and intimidation. The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) Chairperson Samuel Kobia subsequently petitioned National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula to investigate the MP over the same allegations. Parliament removed Wamboka as PIC chairperson pending a formal investigation into the bribery allegations.
