The Absa Kip Keino Classic returns for its seventh edition at Nyayo National Stadium on Friday, marking the first time it will be held under floodlights with Wavelight technology. South African sprinter Zakithi Nene is confident he will defend his 400m title at the event, which is Africa's sole World Athletics Continental Tour gold-level meet. Canadian Olympic and two-time world champion Camryn Rogers is also in Nairobi to defend her title. Meanwhile, Kenyan stars Ferdinand Odira and Ferdinand Omanyala have vowed to shine in their first-ever Kip Keino Classic under floodlights.
