Football Kenya Federation President Hussein Mohammed has declared his suspension by the National Executive Committee null and void, citing irregularities in the meeting's convening. He has denied any misappropriation of funds in the Sh42 million CHAN insurance scandal, asserting that Confederation of African Football secured the cover. The embattled FKF boss rejected his suspension over alleged financial mismanagement related to the 2025 African Nations Championship. He was subsequently suspended by the federation's NEC due to allegations of financial impropriety involving the Ksh42 million scandal.
