Kenya's mixed 4x400m relay team secured a ticket to the 2027 World Championships in Beijing, despite finishing fourth at the World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, Botswana.

• The Kenyan quartet clocked 3:09.93, finishing behind USA (gold), Jamaica (silver), and Great Britain (bronze).
• Africa’s fastest 100m sprinter, Ferdinand Omanyala, led the men’s 4x100m team to a season best, finishing third in their qualifying round and also securing a World Championships spot.
• Heartbreak struck the men’s 4x400m team when Erastus Mbaluka fell, impacting their chances of a strong finish and a World Championships qualification.

Willy Sang, a home player, emerged victorious at the Sunset Golfing Society tournament held at Nyali Golf and Country Club on Saturday.

• Sang secured the overall win with a score of 38 stableford points, decided by a two-way countback.
• He competed against and outplayed 215 other players.
• Notable winners in other categories included Truphena Oyaro (Nyali Lady's winner) and Atul Shah (Nyali senior prize).

Hentansh Shah emerged as the overall winner of the Brush and Beyond golf tournament's opening leg at Sigona Golf Club, despite challenging weather conditions.

• Shah secured 38 stableford points to beat a field of 225 golfers.
• Other notable winners included Duncan Chege (Division Two), Rose Wahome (Sponsor Winner), Hanif Tayebjee (Gross Title), and Vihaan Khilan Shah (Junior Winner).
• The tournament will continue at several other golf clubs across Kenya, including Muthaiga Golf Club and Karen Country Club.
