Former Lands Minister Amos Kimunya has been acquitted in a Ksh60 million land case stemming from an alleged irregular allocation of public land in Nyandarua. The Land Surveyors' Board is warning landowners, buyers, and developers in Kenya against using unqualified or unregistered surveyors, aiming to address a rise in land disputes and fraudulent transactions caused by unauthorized surveying practices. Additionally, the upscale 14 Riverside Drive complex in Nairobi, home to the DusitD2 Hotel and various multinational offices, is scheduled for public auction on May 26 as a consequence of a decade-long commercial dispute and substantial debt.
