Nairobi City Marathon Set for June 7 With Record 17,000 Runners - May 2026

The Nairobi City Marathon 2026 is set for a record turnout, with 17,000 runners registered, marking a 6% increase from the previous year. The majority of participants have signed up for the 10km race. Prominent athletes John Langat and Jonathan Korir are expected to headline the event scheduled for June 7. Separately, Catherine Reline and Mathew Kimeli emerged victorious at the inaugural Cherangany Hills 10km race held in Elgeyo Marakwet.
