The country is facing public scrutiny and protests over a plan to host a US-backed Ebola treatment facility at the Laikipia Airbase, intended for Americans exposed to Ebola. An autopsy has confirmed that a 27-year-old Nanyuki resident died from a gunshot wound during protests against the proposed Ebola quarantine facility in Laikipia County.
