The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced significant partial road closures in Nairobi, impacting daily commutes for several months and extending into 2027.

• Major roads including sections of Ngong Road, Haile Selassie Avenue, Kenyatta Avenue, Valley Road, and Jakaya Kikwete Road will be affected by construction.
• The closures are primarily due to bridge and culvert construction works.
• The longest disruption affects Kenyatta Avenue, Valley Road, and Jakaya Kikwete Road, with reopenings expected around February 12, 2027.
