President William Ruto has arrived in Evian, France, to represent Africa at the G7 Leaders' Summit, advocating for the continent's priorities before major global economies. At the summit, Ruto urged G7 leaders to engage with Africa as an equal partner rather than a recipient of aid, stating "Africa is not a problem to resolve." Kenya is pushing for reforms in the global financial system during the summit. Meanwhile, Israel has reversed its decision to impose Ebola-related travel restrictions on Kenya and Rwanda, removing them from the restricted list following strong diplomatic protest from Kenya.
