Nairobi has been selected to host the Africa Internet Summit 2026 (AIS’26), a significant gathering focused on shaping the continent's digital future. The summit is scheduled to take place from June 22–26, 2026.

• The event anticipates Africa's Internet user base to exceed 1 billion by 2029.
• Key organizers include the African Network Information Centre (AFRINIC) and the African Network Operators Group (AfNOG), with Technology Service Providers of Kenya (TESPOK) as the local host.
