President William Ruto has confirmed a Ksh2 billion allocation for coffee farmer debt waivers in the 2026/27 financial year budget. Separately, President Ruto is spearheading an initiative to expand Kenya's coffee markets, targeting nations like Belgium and South Korea to boost farmer earnings. At the same time, President Ruto is set to launch the Coffee Revival Programme in Kirinyaga County to rejuvenate the coffee sub-sector and improve farmer earnings.
