SRC approves new salaries and allowances for civil servants - July 2026

The Salaries and Remuneration Commission has approved a new salary structure and revised allowances for civil servants in the national government for the 2026/2027 financial year. Separately, Samaritan's Purse, a U.S.-based Christian organization, confirmed that seven of its American employees are in Ebola quarantine in Kenya. Additionally, a cervical cancer screening exercise in Samburu County identified ten new cases within a mere four-hour period.
