Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged tourists and investors to avoid Kenya, citing security fears in what he describes as a region under siege. Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura immediately slammed Gachagua's call, dismissing it as irresponsible and harmful to Kenya's economy. Meanwhile, CS Ruku vowed to secure Mt. Kenya East support for Ruto's 2027 re-election bid.
