Nurses in Kisumu will continue their strike until key demands are met, according to the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN). The strike has escalated as nurses in Kisumu staged protests on Monday, marking the sixth day of a nationwide strike. The nurses are demanding the implementation of their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and the resolution of unresolved grievances. Additionally, nurses at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) demonstrated outside the hospital and began their strike, joining the nationwide industrial action.
