Butula Boys and Kinale Girls emerged as the champions of the 2026 rugby 7s tournaments at the National Tern Two games held at Mpesa Foundation Academy, Thika.

• Kinale Girls successfully defended their title, defeating Kimobo 19-7.
• Butula Boys secured their maiden Sevens title by decisively beating Cardinal Otunga Mosocho 26-0.
• In basketball 3x3, Agoro Sare (boys) and Ikutha Girls (girls) were crowned champions.

New volleyball champions will be crowned at the 2026 National Term Two games in Thika after last year’s girls' champions, Kwanthanze Senior School, were dethroned.

• Kesogon defeated Kwanthanze 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-20) in the semi-finals.
• The girls' final will feature Kesogon against Soweto Academy, who beat St Martha’s Mwitoti.
• The boys' final will see newcomers ACK Chepsaita face Chesamisi Boys Senior School.

Mukami Wangai emerged the top winner at the second leg of the Ladies Coast Open held at the Vipingo Baobab course in Kilifi County.

• Wangai carded a count back score of 81 gross to win the Division A category.
• The event was organized by the Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) and featured over 140 elite and amateur female golfers from East Africa.
• The Ladies Coast Golf Open festival is a week-long event played across five premier Coastal courses in Kenya.
