More than 30,000 runners to take part in 2026 edition of Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon - August 2026

The 2026 Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is set to be the largest yet, with more than 30,000 runners expected to participate. Early community runs have already begun as part of the marathon's build-up activities. Meanwhile, Kenya's young athletes are making waves internationally, returning from competitions with 11 World medals as NOCK targets the LA 2028 Olympics. In golf, Samuel Njoroge Chebe crowned champion of the sixth leg of the 2026/2027 PGK Equator Tour, while Victor Noi and June Lodukae excelled at the East Africa Junior Golf Rankings August Open.
